Distinction from employers to Chief Labour Inspector

On 11 April 2008 Chief Labour Inspector Bożena Borys-Szopa, District Inspector Teresa Różańska and her Deputy Zbigniew Ryfka took part in the XV Great Gala of Craft Chamber for Small and Medium Entrepreneurship in Katowice. The head of inspection was honoured as “Loyal Friend of Craft”. A member of Labour Protection Council Piotr Duda was granted a gold medal named after Jan Kiliński “For meritorious contribution to Polish Craft”.

During this year’s Gala 18 companies were distinguished in the competition “Quality Company” and 2 companies received distinctions titled “Company with the future”. The statuette for “The Craftsman of the Year” was granted to Zbigniew Kierat – an entrepreneur from the motor car sector from Tychy.

It is worth emphasising that National Labour Inspectorate has cooperated with the Craft Chamber in Katowice for years, especially in the field of promotion and prevention. NLI offers training on observance of labour law and promotes competitions and prevention programmes for employers organized by itself.

MP Stanisław Szwed from Labour Protection Council also attended the Gala in Katowice.
