SLI Training Centre
As one of only a few European labour inspection authorities, the State Labour Inspection in Poland has its own educational and training centre, thanks to which it has the opportunity to improve the qualifications of its own inspectors' staff and conduct initial training for candidates for labour inspectors.
Boasting a history of more than 70 years and currently operating on the basis of the Act of 13 April 2007 on the State Labour Inspection, the SLI Training Centre in Wrocław has modern lecture and seminar rooms and specialised equipment which meet the requirements of the training offer addressed both to its own employees and to social and institutional partners.
The centre also has a hotel whose infrastructure is fully utilised for the organisation of all kinds of events held by the SLI Training Centre throughout the year.
The hotel building, an example of experimental construction of the inter-war period, was designed by Hans Scharoun as one of the elements of the 1929 Wrocław exhibition 'Living and Working Space' (WUWA).
