Meeting with the Ambassador of Malaysia

On 4 October 2019 the Chief Labour Inspector, Wiesław Łyszczek, and his colleagues met Chitra Devi Ramiah, the Ambassador of Malaysia in Poland, and Nur Azura Abd Karim, the First Secretary of the Embassy, at the Chief Labour Inspectorate.


The meeting was organised at the request of the Embassy of Malaysia in Warsaw. It served to underline of excellent collaboration of the Inspectorate with the Malaysian diplomats who turn to the Inspectorate in order to seek aid with the interpretation of the provisions of the Polish labour law which is the basis of the employment of some members of the Embassy personnel.

During the meeting explanations were provided by: Wiesław Łyszczek, the Chief Labour Inspector, Wojciech Gonciarz, the Director of the Legal Department at the Chief Labour Inspectorate, Jakub Chojnicki, the Director of the Supervision and Inspection Department at the CLI, Jarosław Leśniewski, the Director of the Legality of Employment Department at the CLI. As the Embassy expressed interest in some solutions provided by the Polish labour law, Wiesław Łyszczek offered a possibility to receive substantive support from the District Labour Inspectorate in Warsaw.

The meeting was also attended by: Iwona Hadacz, the Deputy Director of the Personnel and Training Department at the CLI and Teresa Jastrzębska, an interpreter at the International Relations Unit.
