Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Marshal of the Sejm, appointed Janusz Krasoń to the position of Chief Labour Inspector with effect from 3 July 2026. 

The appointment ceremony, which took place in the Sejm Marshal’s office, was attended by, amongst others, Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, Minister for Family, Labour and Social Policy, and Krzysztof Gadowski, Chair of the Labour Protection Council.

The Minister for Labour wished the new Chief Labour Inspector every success in carrying out this socially important mission.

Janusz Krasoń expressed his gratitude for his appointment as Chief Labour Inspector and acknowledged the significance of the tasks ahead while also emphasising that he was well prepared to fulfil the mandate entrusted to him.

“I believe that the vast experience of the staff at the State Labour Inspection, their knowledge and professionalism, combined with my dedication and practical experience, will ensure that we remain effective, committed and proud of the results of our work. We are all aware that at the core of what we do is service in the interests of other people,” said the new Chief Labour Inspector.
