Communication and information materials

The SLIC working group has prepared three brochures and a press announcement in each EU language. The goal of these brochures is to inform stakeholders about the inspection campaign, the problems on manual handling of loads issues and possible solutions. They are digitally available for the Labour Inspectorates and can be used in the national communication campaign.

Every Labour Inspectorate is invited to print out as much brochures as needed and distribute them to all stakeholders. You find the three brochures as well as the press announcement at the bottom of this page. If technically possible the brochures should be placed on the National Labour Inspectorate’s own web site with reference to this project as well.

The first brochure is a more general brochure about the EU directive and the how and when inspection project manual handling of loads and the possible assessment methods. It contains also a general description of the problems on manual handling of loads in Europe.

The second brochure is a sector specific one concerning manual handling problems in the care sector, the assessment of them and possible source solutions.

The third brochure is similar to the second one but then for the transport sector.

The brochures are partly available with country-specific informations, therefore please use and activate the symbol of the country.
