Jubilee book for Prof. Henryk Lewandowski

On 26 March 2009, an eminent expert in labour law, Prof. dr hab. Henryk Lewandowski from £ód¼ University received the Jubilee Book. During a ceremony organized on that occasion at the Biedermann Palace, a special congratulatory letter from the Chief Labour Inspector was presented to the honourable luminary of science by Iwona Hickiewicz, Deputy Chief Labour Inspector.

“Your achievements are generally known and recognized, among others the ones related to work in the Team for Labour Law and Social Security within the Legislative Council affiliated to the Prime Minister, the Polish Section of the International Association of Labour Law and Social Security, as well as commissions dealing with labour law reform. You have won recognition both by your numerous publications on Polish labour law, as well as extensive scientific achievements at the international level” – Tadeusz Jan Zaj±c, head of the National Labour Inspectorate, wrote in the letter to Professor Lewandowski.

The Chief Labour Inspector emphasised an outstanding didactic and educational input of Professor Henryk Lewandowski into broadening the knowledge of labour inspectors who were students and participants in postgraduate studies in the Faculty of Labour Law managed by Professor Lewandowski at £ód¼ University. He also mentioned that despite a lot of duties resulting from scientific and didactic work, the Professor had always been closely in touch with the management and representatives of the National Labour Inspectorate, offering valuable advice and help in addressing difficult problems in the sphere of labour protection. He wished the honourable representative of an academic stream of Polish science further success in scientific and didactic work.

Professor Henryk Lewandowski also received congratulations from Andrzej ¦widerski, District Labour Inspector in £ód¼.
