The Hague, 29-30 June, XXV. Session of Utrecht Conference: a Polish-Dutch initiative on bilateral relations, among others issues related to the labour market

The Hague was the venue of the Utrecht Conference XXVth session, that is meetings held each year alternately in Poland and in the Netherlands, for representatives of the services from both countries, in order to discuss various issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation. The debates took place in working groups composed of experts in specific fields. On 30 June 2015, the National Labour Inspectorate’s representative, Dariusz Górski from the Legality of Employment Department at the Chief Labour Inspectorate, participated in the works of the team of officials from labour ministries of both countries and representatives of inspection services from Poland and the Netherlands. The session and discussions at the working group focused on the subject of economic migrations from Poland to the Netherlands, new labour law provisions introduced in the Netherlands, which are aimed at protecting workers from abuses, and activities in the area of migration policy, serving to integrate foreigners better into the alien environment.
