Brussels, 27-28 January 2015 – Final seminar and Steering Committee Meeting in the framework of the European project on posting of workers – Learning by doing

On 27-28 January, an international conference was held in Brussels to close the training project “Acting on situations of posting of workers: Learning by doing”, carried out in 2014, with the participation of the National Labour Inspectorate’s staff. The conference was attended by representatives of public institutions, social partners and non-government organisations from 20 European countries, such as France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Germany, Estonia, Romania, Bulgaria and Poland. The topics discussed during the conference included new phenomena in the labour market related to transnational mobility of workers and the challenges for public institutions resulting from the Directive on the enforcement of Directive 96/71/EC, adopted in May 2014. The Polish labour inspection was represented by the labour inspectors who participated in the project, i.e. Magdalena Grzyb (District Labour Inspectorate in Katowice), Paulina Latusek (District Labour Inspectorate in Wrocław), Jacek Maćkowiak (District Labour Inspectorate in Poznań), Piotr Malinowski (District Labour Inspectorate in Opole) and Dariusz Górski (Chief Labour Inspectorate).
