Kosice/Tokaj, Slovakia, 1-2 October, visit to the Eastern Region of the National Labour Inspectorate of the Slovak Republic

At the invitation of the Director General of the Slovak inspectorate, on 1 and 2 October 2015, the National Labour Inspectorate’s delegation, headed by Iwona Hickiewicz, Chief Labour Inspector paid a visit to the National Labour Inspectorate of the Slovak Republic. The delegation was composed of: Małgorzata Hofman, Deputy Chief Labour Inspector, Beata Marynowska, District Labour Inspector in Katowice, Tadeusz Fic, District Labour Inspector in Kraków, and Jakub Chojnicki, Deputy Director at the Prevention and Promotion Department, Chief Labour Inspectorate. The visit was aimed at discussing legislative changes in both countries in connection with the forthcoming date of transposition, into the national legislation, of Directive 2014/67/EU on the enforcement of Directive 96/71/EC concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services. The meeting programme also included discussion on inspection activity in the sector of temporary work agencies.
