Luxembourg, 8 June 2018 – Tripartite meeting
On 8 June 2018, at the seat of the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines in Luxembourg a meeting between the representatives of the inspection services in Poland, Belgium and Luxembourg was held in the framework of the implementation of the bilateral agreements.
The National Labour Inspectorate’s delegation in Poland was led by Mr Wiesław Łyszczek, the Chief Labour Inspector, and comprised: Mr Jarosław Leśniewski, Director of the Legality of Employment Department, Mr Bartosz Kopeć of the Legal Department and Ms Nina Dulna, translator of the International Cooperation Unit. The Belgian party was represented by Mr Damien Delatour, Director General of the Social Legislation Supervision and Mr Paul Tousseyn, Director General, Department of Monitoring of Well-Being at the Workplace at Federal Public Service for Employment, Work and Social Concertation.
Mr Marco Boly, the Director of the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines in Luxembourg was hosting the meeting. He presented the tasks and competencies of the Inspectorate and initiated a discussion on the cooperation between the inspection services of the three partner countries in the context of the implementation of the bilateral agreements. The participants of the meeting also exchanged experiences concerning national level challenges, i.e. the posting of workers and the fight against the undeclared work in view of amendments made to the European legislation. Moreover, the participants discussed during the meeting the new legislative proposals of the European Commission.
