Wrocław, 24-28 September 2018 – Visit of the French candidates for labour inspectors

On 24-28 September 2018, the National Labour Inspectorate’s Professor Jan Rosner Memorial Training Center in Wrocław once again welcomed French candidates for labour inspectors from the French National Institute of Labour, Employment and Professional Training (INTEFP).

International training at the labour administration of another EU Member State or in a European institution concludes the training of the French candidates for labour inspectors.

This year’s meeting at the National Labour Inspectorate’s Professor Jan Rosner Memorial Training Center in Wrocław was attended by a group of 14 guests from France. Mr Lesław Grajewski,  Director of the Centre and host of the meeting, welcomed the trainees.   

‘The influence of the new technologies on the labour market’ was the main subject of the meeting and the main point of interest of the French candidates for labour inspectors. As a starting point, Ms Maria Michoń,  Deputy District Labour Inspector in Wrocław, presented the main tasks and competences of the National Labour Inspectorate. Moreover, during the meeting, the French trainees learned about the forms of employment defined in the Polish legal system, resulting both from the Labour Code and the civil law, as well as about the tasks of the National Labour Inspectorate as regards monitoring compliance with the provisions concerning  employment on the basis of  civil-law contracts. These particular topics were discussed in  detail by the representatives of the District Labour Inspectorate in Wrocław: Mr Marek Łeszkiw,  Head of the Analysis and IT Unit, Mr Marek Choczaj,  labour inspector and Ms Elżbieta Nowak, legal expert.

The meeting was also attended by the labour inspectors involved in the cooperation of the National Labour Inspectorate with France : Mr Adam Tuleja from the District Labour Inspectorate in Rzeszów, branch in Krosno, Ms Paulina Latusek from the District Labour Inspectorate in Wrocław and Ms Eliza El Manouri from the District Labour Inspectorate in Poznań.

During the visit at the National Labour Inspectorate’s Professor Jan Rosner Memorial Training Center in Wrocław the French trainees could benefit from the extensive knowledge and  rich experience of the Polish labour inspectors and experts, which might prove helpful during their professional work.
