Meeting with a delegation of Ethiopian experts

On 23 October 2019 at the Chief Labour Inspectorate in Warsaw there was a meeting of the management of the National Labour Inspectorate with a delegation consisting of the members of the Ethiopian team of experts appointed by the Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

The appointment of the team was an answer to the growing problem of unemployment among young people in Ethiopia and was connected to the planned creation of a state support system for future economic migrants.

The members of the expert team familiarised themselves with the situation of economic migrants in Poland. Another topic for discussion was the function of the National Labour Inspectorate as an authority supervising the compliance with labour law with regard to foreigners and the inspection of the legality of their employment.
