Meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The foreign delegation was headed by: Mr Nozim Khusanov, the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Mr Bakhrom Babaev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland.
The National Labour Inspectorate was represented by: Mr Wiesław Łyszczek, Chief Labour Inspector, Mr Bogdan Drzastwa, Deputy Chief Labour Inspector, Ms Iwona Hadacz, Deputy Director of the Personnel and Training Department, Mr Marek Popkiewicz, acting Deputy Director of the Legality of Employment Department in the Chief Labour Inspectorate, Mr Grzegorz Nieradka, Advisor to the Chief Labour Inspector, Mr Robert Jaworski, Chief Specialist in the Chief Labour Inspectorate’s Legality of Employment Department.
The visit to Poland was organized on the initiative of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which has developed the structures of labour inspection and human resources, under the aegis of the International Labour Organization, for only 3 years. The guests from Uzbekistan listened with particular interest to the information on the National Labour Inspectorate’s line of reporting and the scope of competence as well as the information on the development of our institution's work programmes and the process of training inspection staff at the National Labour Inspectorate's Training Center in Wrocław.
The discussion also focused on the economic migration of nationals of Uzbekistan to the EU Member States and the legality of employment of foreigners - third-country nationals in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
At the end of the meeting, the representatives of the Uzbek delegation expressed their hope for closer cooperation and exchange of experiences with the National Labour Inspectorate and invited the Polish delegation to visit the Republic of Uzbekistan.
