Warsaw, 13 June 2018 – Visit of the Philippine delegation at the Chief Labour Inspectorate
On 13 June 2018, the Chief Labour Inspectorate hosted a meeting of the National Labour Inspectorate’s Management with the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Philippines and the delegation of the Philippine Association of Service Exporters, Inc. (PASEI). The delegation of PASEI was led by Ms Elsa U. Villa, the President of the association, who was accompanied by several members of the organization’s Management.
The Embassy was represented by Ms Maria Alnee A. Gamble, first Secretary and Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Philippines and Mr Aamon Ebalo, Attaché of the Embassy. The meeting was attended by Mr Wiesław Łyszczek, the Chief Labour Inspector and Mr Bogdan Drzastwa, the Deputy Chief Labour Inspector, as well as the directors of the departments at the Chief Labour Inspectorate.
The Philippine Association of Service Exporters, existing fom 38 years, is a registered, private organization associating approximately 250 certified employment agencies active in Philippines. The goal of PASEI is, among others, to help employment agencies gain knowledge on the legal provisions concerning the performance of work in Member States, thus ensure better work conditions for the Filipino migrant workers.
