Polish Chief Labour Inspector in Lithuania
On 23 May 2019, Wiesław Łyszczek, Chief Labour Inspector, visited Vilnius, where he participated in the official celebration of the centenary of the National Labour Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania.
In his congratulatory speech, the Chief Labour Inspector extended to the Management and staff of the Lithuanian inspection services wishes of further success in implementation of the labour inspectorate’s mission and expressed his appreciation for the current good cooperation of our institutions and its vital role in tackling future challenges.
On behalf of the National Labour Inspectorate in Poland, Wiesław Łyszczek presented the Chief Labour Inspector of the Republic of Lithuania, Jonas Gricius, with a commemorative engraved plaque and a dedicated copy of the book “Labour Inspectorate in Poland in 1919-1939”.
Apart from the representatives of the Lithuanian labour inspectorate, the ceremony, held in Vaidilos Theater, was also attended by, among others, representatives of the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania, social partners and heads of the Estonian and Latvian labour inspection authorities.
