Visit in Slovakia

On 9-11 September 2019, following an invitation extended by Karol Habina, Director General of the National Labour Inspectorate of the Slovak Republic, the Polish NLI’s delegation led by Wiesław Łyszczek, Chief Labour Inspector, was visiting the Training Centre of the Slovak labour inspectorate in Mala Lucivna.


Wiesław Łyszczek was accompanied by: Bogdan Drzastwa, Deputy Chief Labour Inspector, Jarosław Leśniewski, Director of the Legality of Employment Department at the Chief Labour Inspectorate and Sławomir Szempliński, chief specialist at the International Relation Unit in the Chief Labour Inspector’s Cabinet.


The main objective of the visit was to sign a new bilateral agreement on cooperation between both institutions which replaced the agreement in force signed in 2013. The meeting was also an opportunity for the heads of the partnering institutions to exchange ideas on the future cooperation priorities and challenges faced by labour inspection authorities. The participants also discussed practical aspects of labour inspectorates’ activities.
